Blimey, I thought I might've found somethin' useful ter do over the holidays, aside from me gamekeeping duties, but it turns out tha' a certain someone still needs a bit more time ter get used ter people. Bin' out in tha' bloody forest a bit too long. So I have him staying in me hut fer a few days. Its a bit cramped here now but I think he's adjusting well ter being inside fer a change.
Harry, are yeh holding up with those bunch o' Little Whinging nutters'? Do yeh need any thin'? I can send an owl with a nice package o' treats from Honeydukes if yeh'd like. Me and my guest might try making yeh a nice rock cake or summat. Be good fer him ter learn ter cook I reckon.

Bin' awhile since I've written anythin' but, its jus' that, Fang's bin sick fer awhile. I was err, wonderin', if yeh knew anythin' abou' a bit o'potion fer tha lil' guy, ter sharpen 'im up a bit?

Notice ter all care o' magical creatures students: do not, I repeat, do not put female and male plimpy tergether. I don' have anymore room fer plimpy fish eggs. I'm gonna send'em home with yeh at end o' term if yeh keep forgettin' to keep'em seperate like I tol' yeh. Put yer plimpy back in th'righ' pool.
Also, Colin, mind tellin me why yer fish bowl is now empty?

Merlin's Beard! Have all the students 'round here went an' gone nutters? Bladders and chicken legs an' a lethifold? Not ter mention the lack o'interest in our new magical creatures project. How could anyone find Graphorns uninterestin'? 'Course they're interestin'. Great creatures, Graphorns. I mean, its not like we're studying borin' ol' fire slugs!

So are yeh alrigh' then, an' Ron an' Hermione? Anythin' I can do?
I'm goin' to be out for a bit tomorrow evening. Jus' wanted to check on if yeh need anythin' before then. Won' be gone long. I'll jus' be needin' ter tend to a few things, one in particular bein' a bit large.

Turns out my journal's no dud. Just having a bit o' rest. When the lil' guy wakes I'm gonna let it have a nice play with one o' the Care of Magical Creatures books. They ought ter get along jus' great!
Not too much ter write about really. Been kinda quiet around the hut las' few days, although plenty goin' on elsewhere... wha' with blue hair and missing noses an' all... an' those two I'm speakin' of: yeh better sort yerselves out by the end o' easter hols, or yeh'll have more detentions than yeh can count!
Luna, if yeh change yer mind and are interested in a new pet, I'll be happy ter let yeh pick one from my own. I have a few horklumps, raised by me since they were jus' lil' horks.

Hello. Right then... Firs' time writin' in this journal. Been meaning to get to it, but what with th' lot to do round here, I been keepin' busy. Wonderin' if this books a dud though? It jus' lies there, no spirit at all. I usually prefer books with fangs...
Speakin' of fangs, just got back from seeing a man about a new breed of... err - never yeh mind. An wha's this about Hermione duelin? Gulpin' Gargoyles! Eh, don' reckon I ought ter say this but...if duelin' were allowed...I'd be proud of yeh.
